ReaChat

ReaChat is an AI copilot built for REAPER, with full control of your DAW session. Powered by the latest models from Anthropic, Google and OpenAI, it reads every track, plug-in and route in your project and works on them directly: mixing, arranging, composing and designing sound across hundreds of tracks at once. It engineers and installs its own ReaScripts, builds user interfaces and JSFX effects, researches the web, consults you along the way, and carries what it learns about your work from one project to the next, while you keep full control of your project history, memory and personal goals. ReaChat puts you in the director's chair as producer and master engineer, with total expertise at your fingertips: approachable with no technical background, empowering with one.

Your own AI

Works on your project

• Reads the live project: tracks, items, FX, parameters, routing, tempo, markers.
• Changes it for you: volume, pan, mute and solo, FX chains, plug-in parameters and presets, sends,
  buses and sidechains, MIDI, markers and regions.
• Opens the right window on request: FX chain, plug-in, mixer, routing, MIDI editor, Actions list.
• Knows your installed plug-ins: starts from REAPER's own and uses yours when they do the job better.

Builds tools

• Writes ReaScripts and registers them in the Actions list – with their own windows when you ask
  for an interface.
• Writes JSFX effects, test-compiles them in REAPER and inserts them on your tracks.
• A Scripts library keeps everything it made.

Step and Flow

• Step: one request, one answer.
• Flow: give it a goal and it plans the work, then carries it through step by step on its own.
  The plan is shown as progress in the top bar. Pause, resume, or stop at any time.
• Advanced Tasking: Flow breaks each goal into measurable parts and verifies every one with
  checks it runs itself before the goal counts as done. It can be switched off for a simpler loop.
• Type while it works: your message joins the task at its next step.
• Limits you set: Flow Steps per goal and Requests per Minute.

Safe by design

• Every change is one undo step.
• Choose whether it asks before running code or changing anything.
• AI-written code runs in a sandbox; system access stays off unless you allow it.
• Autosave keeps copies as you work; after a crash, ReaChat offers your last session back.
